The contrast of ‘the machine’ and the natural world is a constant source of inspiration for me. The juxtaposition of artificial and organic and the desire to converge these two aesthetics with design and technology is an ongoing struggle of humanity. This painting combines artificial and organic symbolism and attempts to represent that struggle visually.
